Raising the Bar on Clean Burning
Meet Lillian. She is a Grade 6 student in North York, Ontario, with a love for art and a keen awareness of healthy living. Raised in a health food industry household, Lillian brings a consciousness of toxic products, environmental issues and healthy alternatives to her creative endeavors, using eco-friendly materials that are safe for your family and neighborhood.
Lillian identified a need in the candle market for more transparent labeling of toxins. In particular, there is a long list of cancer-causing, gene-mutating and fertility-harming substances in fragrances which are not captured within the common standard of ‘phthalate and paraben free‘. It is time to make CMR-free the next industrial standard. Carcinogen, mutagen and repro-toxin free.
All-Natural Waxes
Only the cleanest burning waxes and oils sourced from reliable Canadian suppliers, verified by meticulous review of Material Safety Data Sheets. Our coconut-apricot wax is the most premium wax available, guaranteed free of paraffin, unlike some alternatives.
Coconut wax has the best hot ‘scent throw’ of any plant-based wax, and is second only to beeswax for its burn length. Apricot wax improves the heat stability of coconut wax, which is butter-soft in its pure form and susceptible to deformation, while maintaining its ultra-clean burn profile. Apricot wax also has a notable pearlescent, smooth beautiful sheen.
Unique Aesthetic
Lillian’s passion is for art, and aims to bring elegant and unique presentation to her candle creations. Most container candles advertise their label prominently on the side of their jar or tin; Lillian seeks to offer home decorations which draw the eye to their shape and color, and not to branded text. Our wood wicks produce a wider flame than conventional cotton braids, along with a subtle fireplace-like crackling sound.
Presently we offer a 10 oz amber jar along with 8 oz and 4 oz rose gold tins without side-facing labels, lending aesthetic ambiance to your space. Lillian continues to hunt for unique aesthetic vessels that push the envelope on container candles.

Where are you produced?
We are a home-based family business in Toronto, ON, sourcing all our ingredients from reputable Ontario suppliers to guarantee the highest standards of ingredient quality and testing.
Why coconut-apricot wax?
Coconut wax has the best scent throw and cleanest burn of all natural waxes. It also burns slower than soy wax, offering more value per candle. Coconut trees produce for generations and avoid GMO monoculture farming like soy. Apricot wax makes coconut wax firmer while maintaining a clean burn and presenting an exceptional pearlescent shine.
Are fragrance oils safe for humans?
Our fragrances are carefully selected to be free not only of paraffin, phthalates and paraben, but also other CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reproductive) toxins. We meticulously review our suppliers Material Safety Data Sheets to uphold the highest non-toxic standard in the industry. Nonetheless, it is important to note that some people are sensitive to strong aromas from both essential and fragrance oils, particularly people suffering from asthma and respiratory conditions.
Are scented candles pet safe?
Cats and dogs have highly sensitive olfactory systems and lower tolerances to volatile organic compounds in both essential oils and fragrances. Scented candles should only be used in well ventilated rooms in pet households. Always provide a room exit for pets in case they are overwhelmed. Watch for signs of wheezing or watering eyes and stop if irritations persist. Some scents are particularly toxic for cats and should be avoided altogether. Can I customize my candle order?
Yes, we are accepting custom scent and container requests. We aim to offer unique aesthetics and scents in the clean candle market. We welcome your feedback into how we can better satisfy your candle desires. Production time varies with selected scents and vessels as we search for suppliers. Note that coconut wax candles take a week to cure to achieve the best scent throw upon burning.
