We’re a small home business. We don’t share or sell your data, and we only use your email to send promotional messages if you’ve opted in.

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect the information in the comment form along with your IP address and browser details for spam detection. If you have a Gravatar, an anonymized hash of your email may be sent to that service to retrieve your profile photo. Your profile photo and comment are publicly visible once approved.

Media

Avoid uploading images with embedded GPS/location data (EXIF), as visitors may be able to extract it.

Cookies

We use cookies to remember comment form details (1 year), manage login sessions (2 days, or 2 weeks with “Remember Me”), and save display preferences (1 year). A temporary cookie is set on the login page solely to check browser compatibility — it contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

Embedded content

Pages may include embedded content from other sites (videos, images, etc.). That content behaves as if you visited those sites directly and may collect data or use cookies independently.

Data Retention

Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely to streamline future comment approvals. Registered users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username) from their profile.

Your Rights
